Merchandiser is responsible for driving sales and profitability through effective merchandising strategies and product assortments.      

I. WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Product Development      

• Analyzing sales data, market trends, and consumer behavior to develop effective new product (SKU) assortments    
• Implementing monthly sales promotion plans to increase sales    
• Monitor orders and sales and report on the results    
• Product management: change price, change code, change suppliers, change promotion program, cut code, clear stock, renew, etc.    

Suppliers Management      

• Negotiation with suppliers about pricing, trading term, margin, rebate, claim bate, promotion, basic sale, contract condition, exchange and return, etc.    
• Closed deal with suppliers and notification to relevant departments, systems, safety and hygiene documentation, QC..    
• Analyzing suppliers‘ performance: products, rebates, sales...    
• Floor planning: sales analyses, zoning, layout, planogram;    

Project Management and Other      

• Propose exclusive projects or activities such as a flagship store, new concept, big event, or season campaign    
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Line Manager     

II. WHAT DO YOU NEED?

• Bachelor‘s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistic, or a related field    
• In-depth understanding of retail industry trends, consumer behavior, market dynamics, and FMCG market situation.  
• At least 2-3 years experience as Merchandiser or Buyer in Supermarket/Mini Mart    
• Experience in product selection and assortment planning, negotiation, and supplier management  
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills    
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills    
• Strong negotiation and decision-making skills    
• Ability to think strategically and creatively    
• Able to work independently, possess a high level of responsibility and commitment;    
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
