I. JOB PURPOSE
To ensure Coffee25 store staff are thoroughly trained in product knowledge, beverage preparation, service standards, and brand values. The Trainer plays a key role in maintaining consistency, enhancing customer experience, and supporting overall business performance.
II. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Training & Coaching
- Design and update training materials for coffee products, brewing techniques, and customer service skills.
- Conduct onboarding programs and regular training sessions for new and existing staff.
- Provide on-the-job training (OJT) and evaluate barista skill levels at stores.
- Support the development of store managers and assistant managers through advanced training.
2. Quality Control & Assessment
- Perform regular in-store assessments of barista performance using standardized checklists.
- Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, recipes, and preparation standards.
- Identify errors or skill gaps and suggest improvements to training or processes.
3. Content & Program Development
- Work closely with the R&D and Marketing teams to develop training content for new product launches.
- Support the creation of instructional materials: videos, manuals, visual aids, counter guides.
- Stay updated on coffee trends and incorporate relevant techniques into the training program.
4. Operational Support
- Assist in training and setup for new store openings.
- Troubleshoot issues related to beverage quality or preparation at stores.
- Contribute to employee assessments and support internal promotion readiness.
III. JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Requirements Education College degree or higher, preferably in F&B or Hospitality fields
- Minimum 2 years of coffee experience and at least 1 year in a training or coaching role within F&B
- Skills Proficient in various coffee brewing methods (espresso, cold brew, etc.), knowledgeable in ingredients, machines, and bar operations
- Strong communication, clear instruction delivery, group training ability, customer service mindset
- Prefer candidates with experience in chain stores (coffee or bubble tea), willing to travel for short-term store openings
