Main Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Planning and Strategy

Develop and implement HSE plans and strategies aligned with overall business objectives.

Monitor the execution of HSE initiatives, track performance metrics, and propose improvements to ensure effectiveness.

Manage and control the budget for all HSE-related activities.
2. HSE Foundation and Compliance
-
Develop and enforce HSE policies and procedures to safeguard occupational and environmental safety and ensure legal compliance.

Establish operational standards to ensure safety, health, and environmental protection in accordance with relevant regulations.

Design and implement incident management and emergency response plans.
3. Other Responsibilities
-
Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.

Regularly travel to retail sites to conduct inspections, audits, and training.
Requirements:
Education and Knowledge
-
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

In-depth knowledge of local and international HSE laws and regulations.
-
Familiarity with HSE issues in the retail or service industry.

Strong understanding of risk assessment and risk management practices.
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in the retail or FMCG sector.

Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE systems and policies.

Solid track record in conducting safety risk assessments and emergency preparedness planning.
