I. JOB SUMMARY:
- Legal Manager is responsible for ensuring that all the internal procedures and processes are complied to reduce the operational risk for the Company.
II. MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Internal Compliance
1. Legal Advisory and Compliance in Labor/Social Insurance/Employement/Other

Provide expert legal advice on labor laws, social insurance, employment as employment contracts, internal labor rules, workplace policies, dispute resolution, …

Support legal compliance across retail operations and other related areas such as corporate governance, consumer protection, and licensing processes.
2. Compliance Management and Monitoring

Develop, implement, and oversee compliance policies related to labor laws, and social insurance to mitigate legal risks.

Conduct compliance audits to identify and address risks associated with labor practices, personal data management, and social insurance obligations.
3. Regulatory Monitoring and Risk Management

Monitor and update management on changes in labor laws, social insurance regulations, and relevant regulations to ensure continuous compliance.

Identify potential legal risks in employment management, social insurance obligations, and relevant regulations, and propose solutions to mitigate these risks.
4. Contract Management
- Drafting & Review: Draft, review, and finalize a wide range of commercial contracts (e.g., Lease Agreements for stores, Supply/Vendor Agreements, Franchise/Agency Agreements, and Service Contracts).
5. Litigation & Dispute Resolution
- Handle and oversee legal disputes, including labor grievances, commercial conflicts with suppliers, or consumer protection claims.
- Represent the company in proceedings before Courts, Arbitration centers, or during mediation with state authorities.
- Manage relationships with external law firms for high-stakes litigation, ensuring cost-effective and strategic resolution of complex legal issues.
6. General Support for Company’s operation

Provide legal support for other retail-related operations

Ensure all activities across store operations comply with legal requirements and internal policies to maintain operational efficiency and minimize risks.

III. REQUIREMENTS
Education and Knowledge
- Bachelor of Legal
- Holding a lawyer practicing certificate is an advantage
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in legal advisory, compliance, or regulatory roles.
- Strong knowledge of labor law, social insurance, procedural Laws, commercial, corporate governance, retail store activities.
- Experience working with government authorities and managing external legal counsel is a plus.
