The Merchandise Planning Executive supports the Merchandise Planning Manager in analyzing sales data, developing category plans, and coordinating efforts to ensure effective MD performance on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Manages the import of private brand (PB) products from GS25 Korea and works closely with partners/suppliers in Korea.
I. WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Sales Performance Analysis & Strategic Planning
· Assist in analyzing sales performance and rebate data.
· Support in tracking category performance on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Category Development Support:
· Product management: Assist in managing product in-out, slow-moving inventory, ABC analysis report
· Coordinate with internal departments to plan, develop, and enhance product categories, ensuring they meet customer needs and align with market trends.
· Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify emerging customer preferences and integrate findings into category strategies to drive growth.
- Promotion Management: Upload promotion information on the system; coordinate with internal departments (Merchandise, Marketing, Operations, etc.) in the implementation of promotion.
- Import Management: Assist in managing the import process for private brand (PB) products from GS25 Korea, aligned with current trends and the specific needs of GS25 Vietnam.
- Collaboration with Korean Partners/Suppliers: Support to build a sustain strong relationships with Korea partners and suppliers, ensuring alignment with the latest trends and the specific needs of GS25 Vietnam.
- Other tasks: Perform additional duties as assigned by Line Manager.
II. WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- Graduated from University in relevant field;
- Knowledge of merchandising in retail or FMCG is a plus.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in merchandising, purchasing, or a related role in retail or CVS
- Strong attention to analyze sales data, forecast demand, and develop effective merchandise plans.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently, possess a high level of responsibility and commitment;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with contract management systems is a plus.
- Good command of Korean and computer skills. (priority).
