Main Responsibilities

  1. Sales Performance & Strategy

    • Analyze sales and rebate performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and improvement areas.

    • Develop and refine category strategies and sales plans to achieve performance targets.

    • Track and evaluate category performance on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually).

  2. Category & Product Development

    • Collaborate with internal teams to plan, develop, and enhance product categories that align with customer demand and market trends.

  3. Reporting & Market Insights

    • Prepare and present performance reports covering category results, inventory status, and sales trends.

    • Conduct market research and analyze emerging trends to support category growth and innovation.

  4. Import & Supplier Management

    • Manage import activities for private brand (PB) products from GS25 Korea, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy.

    • Maintain strong partnerships with Korean suppliers and partners to ensure smooth operations and market relevance.

  5. Other Duties

    • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements

Education & Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of merchandising, category management, and inventory optimization.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in Merchandising, Purchasing, or Buying within Supermarket or Convenience Store environments.

  • Experience in retail or FMCG is an advantage.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills with the ability to interpret data and build actionable plans.

  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with contract or planning systems is a plus.

  • Good command of English.
