Main Responsibilities

Supplier Management
-
Search and develop new suppliers and products to expand the grocery assortment.

Negotiate trading terms, promotions, pricing, and contract conditions to optimize profitability.

Evaluate and monitor supplier performance (sales, rebates, product quality).

Category & Floor Management
-
Conduct sales and floor performance analyses to improve category zoning, layout, and planograms.
-
Manage product assortment, replacements, and stock presentation to align with category strategy.
-

Sales & Promotion Execution
-
Implement and monitor sales promotion plans to achieve sales targets.
-
Communicate campaign details and product information effectively to stores and relevant departments.
-

Market & Performance Analysis
-
Analyze category trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
-
Prepare reports and share negotiation results and performance insights with the team.
-

Other Duties
-
Perform other tasks as assigned by Line Manager.

Requirements
Education & Knowledge
-
College or University degree in a related field.
-
Strong understanding of the FMCG and retail market, especially grocery or daily food categories.
Experience
-
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Purchasing, Buyer, or Merchandiser in Supermarket, CVS, or Retail environments.
Skills & Abilities
-
Strong skills in negotiation, supplier sourcing, and data analysis.

High initiative and willingness to explore new categories and suppliers.
-
Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal teams and suppliers.
-
Able to work independently with a high sense of responsibility and commitment.
-
Good command of English and computer literacy (priority).
